Entrar en esta tienda es como entrar en una película inglesa sobre los duros años de la II Guerra Mundial y del período que siguió. Son impresionantes los vestidos de fiesta y los uniformes de enfermera. El día del libro es seguramente el peor día de los bibliófilos, de los fetichistas del libro, de los que les gusta acariciar el lomo y oler las páginas. El día en que se venden más libros en este país, el día en que hordas humanas se abalanzan sobre los libros de las paradas de Sant Jordi mientras blanden rosas con afiladas espinas, ha de ser un auténtico martirio para este extenso grupo de lectores que hasta cuentan con grupo de \u003Ca href=\"http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/pages\/Me-encanta-oler-los-libros\/75143670821\"\u003EFacebook\u003C\/a\u003E (sí, no sólo tú hueles los libros).\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003EEn mi caso en raras ocasiones un libro se ha convertido en objeto de veneración como tal, por su olor o por su encuadernación, más bien lo ha sido por su contenido.
